Just got done reading your book. I must say you have really put together a amazing horse racing book. Once I started to read it I couldn't put the book down. I found myself getting up early just so I could get a few chapters in before I would go to work, then right back at it when I got home from work. I got so much out of book I already feel like I am a improved horse player and I thank you for that. Thanks again for everything that you have put together and shared with me, it is really appreciated. ~Chris

I am living proof that "RICHARD REESE" BOOK WAS THE SMARTEST THING I'VE DONE IN MY HORSE PLAYING LIFE ...THIS BOOK "HANDICAPPING CONFIDENTIAL" IS THE BEST TEXT IN MY 20 PLUS YEARS OF HORSE PLAYING! I WILL ALWAYS BE A FAN AND CUSTOMER! ~Fernando

Thank you for all that you do. You seem to be the most honest, giving person I have met. So many are selling junk, making outrageous claims that do not exist, and there is no support if you have questions, or don't understand something. I really appreciate you, and should have said that a long time ago. Thank you again. May God forever bless you. ~Ruby

Handicapping Confidential is a great reference book for the new handicapper. It teaches you a thought process in how to break down a race, read the past performance sheets, identify trainer angles, separate the contenders from the pretenders, evaluate pace values, and wagering strategies. There is a lot of information to consume but after a few years of putting my new found knowledge to work, I can declare that the last trip to Saratoga was a success! I attended the 2016 Travers Stakes races this year. There were 13 races slated on a beautiful summer day. Six races were Grade 1 and one was Grade 2. Needless to say, these were very tough races to analyze and pick a winner. I am happy to say that I bet 11 races and cashed in on 8 and I was the only one in my group to successfully pick Arrogate as the big winner of the Travers. Many guys who scoffed at my pick pointed out that Arrogate had never run a graded race and that this was a huge step for him. My answer to them was a line used in Richard Reese book, “Speed Kills” and this horse had it. As we all know, Arrogate set a Travers Stakes record speed and won by 13 ½ lengths. Thanks Richard, great book and I am now a happy handicapper. ~Mike

Richard's Handicapping Confidential has literally changed the way I approached handicapping horse racing. Without going into details I must say that even more important than his extensive new age knowledge on what's the most important things to lookout for when handicapping; his hands on one on one approach is exemplary. If I have any question about anything regarding handicapping, Richard will email me within hours, or at the most within 24 hours with an answer. I am 63 years old and I've been a handicapper since 1978. I've bought dozens of books, handicapping programs, and attended several seminars, but nobody has educated me better than Richard. I appreciate his knowledge tremendously and I am grateful that I stumbled upon his site a few years ago. Richard might not be in a class by himself, but it won't take long to call roll. ~Al
